Foundation for Public Education

The Foundation for Public Education (FPE) chose the Guam Teacher of the Year (GTOY) program as one of its signature events. Since 2015, the FPE has hosted the Guam Teacher of the Year gala to award the teacher who has earned the title of the Guam Teacher of the Year. The gala is a major fundraising event for the FPE which enables them to provide monetary support directly to the schools. The FPE provides prizes for the GTOY such as a one-year lease for the use of a brand new car along with gas and insurance, a crystal latte, and one all-expense paid trip to Washington Week.  The semi-finalist and finalists receive professional headshots, cash prizes, individual media coverage, and more! Additionally, the FPE gives gifts to the GTOY judges as an appreciation for their time and work during the selection process. The GTOY program is deeply grateful for its continued support. Biba FPE!!!
