MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the Research, Planning, and Evaluation (RP&E) Division is to provide leadership and technical assistance in

1. the collection of timely, accurate, and useful information on students, faculty, staff, budget and expenditure and other operational data; 
2. the conduct of cost-effective research and evaluation of district-level programs, 
3. the oversight of the district's comprehensive student assessment system, and
4. building a culture of quality data in light of the belief that good data are an integral part of teaching, learning, and managing the school enterprise.

All these activities support the GDOE mission to Prepare all students for life, Promote excellence and Provide support.
