Each year, GDOE is audited by both IAO and external auditors and reviewers. This page contains GDOE's audit performance history from fiscal year 2000 to present.
GDOE was deemed by the U.S. Department of Education (US ED) as a high-risk grantee. Additionally, special conditions were imposed on GDOE. In order for GDOE to receive funds from US ED, GDOE must follow the special conditions. This page contains updates on GDOE's special conditions.
As part of special conditions, GDOE contracted for a Third Party Fiduciary Agent (TPFA) to oversee the management of US ED funds. This page contains any updates on GDOE's plan to transition TPFA's responsibilities back to GDOE.
