CHAMORU IMMERSION PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Registration is now open for the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) Faneyåkan Sinipok CHamoru Immersion
Interested stakeholders who would like to learn more about the registration process may contact the GDOE CHamoru Studies Division Office at 300-1387 or 300-2498 for further inquiries or for special accommodations.
The Faneyåkan Sinipok CHamoru
In order to participate, families must fill out and provide all documentation required by the application process, to be followed by an interview. Additionally, participating families must agree to commitment requirements, which include commitment to participate on a consistent basis, commitment to take CHamoru immersion classes by the parents and family members, and commitment to provide eight hours of in-kind service to the program per month.

Applicants will be invited to interviews aimed at discussing program requirements and commitments

Students will be selected based on selective factors and based on the family's ability to commit to and meet program requirements.

Parents/guardians of students accepted into the program will need to sign a document stating their commitment to program requirements. Failure to fulfill commitments may result in families having to withdraw from the program.
