It is that time of year again! The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) has officially launched the selection process for the 2024 Teacher of the Year program and is now calling for nominations.  The annual program aims to recognize and honor the efforts of exceptional educators in Guam’s public schools.

Members of the community, most especially students, parents, and families of GDOE are invited to nominate candidates from Guam’s 41 public schools.  The nomination form is available on the main page of the GDOE website and is also available here: https://tinyurl.com/GTOY2024Nominations. The nomination period will close on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 5:00 p.m

Candidates for the Guam Teacher of the Year program are educators who are exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled teachers in any state-approved or accredited school, who teach pre-kindergarten through grade twelve, and who are planning to continue in an active teaching status.
