Chamoru Language & Culture Program for Grades K - 5

 

Education Board Policy 346  states that all elementary school students are provided with Chamoru language and culture instruction daily for a minimum of 100 minutes per week or twenty (20) minutes in grades kindergarten (K) through third (3rd); and 150 minutes per week and thirty (30) minutes in grades Fourth (4th) through fifth (5th).

As of  SY 2023 - 24, approximately eighty-five (85) Chamoru Language and Culture Program teachers and substitute teachers are at the elementary level.
