The GDOE Scholarship program was initiated by the Superintendent of Education, Mr. Jon Fernandez. The program is comprised of selected high school counselors who are committed to ensuring that graduating seniors are well educated about opportunities for college scholarships. The goal of this program is to identify what scholarships/donors are available, aggressively campaign awareness of the scholarships and to maximize the number of students who are applying and awarded.
