Award:  Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance* that is not already covered by other financial aid and the expected family contribution, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Eligibility:

• A high school senior
• From at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
• Pell-eligible
• A US citizen, national or permanent resident
• A minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale

Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university.

Award: $40,000/year 

Eligibility:

• US Citizen or Legal Resident 
• Cumulative Unweighted Grade Point Average of 3.5 or higher
• Household Earnings under $95,000
• SAT score of 1200 or higher
• Other requirements: letters of recommendations and essays

Deadline:  February 1, 2018; 5PM EST 

Award:  Up to $30,000 over four years

Eligibility:

• Be a graduating high school senior
• Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the U.S.
• Show potential leadership
• Demonstrate a dedication to community service
• Present evidence of financial need
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 (Math & Critical Reading combined) or a composite ACT score of 21

Deadline:  March 31, 2018

Award:  Up to $10,000

Eligibility:

• Annual scholarship program for college-bound high school students who are legally blind.
• Requirements:
  • Completion of scholarship application form online at lighthouseguild.org/scholarships
  • Proof of legal blindness
  • Proof of US citizenship or legal residency
  • Documentation of academic achievement
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • College-bound applicants are required to submit two (2) personal statements:  one about the applicant and second describing the influence of an outstanding teacher
  • Chosen college must be accredited by a body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
  • All college admissions policies must be non-denominational, open to applicants of all religions, faiths and belief

Award: $200,000 

Eligibility:

• US Citizen or Legal Resident 
• Academic Rigor: primarily A’s in rigorous courses (AP and Honors), Top 5-10% of class
• Household Earnings under $65,000 for family of 4
• SAT or PSAT scores of 1310 or higher
• Other requirements: letters of recommendations and essays

Deadline:  January 4, 2018; CLOSED

Award:  $10,000 renewable for up to an additional 3 years; up to $40,000 total per recipient

Eligibility:

To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

• Demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship;
• Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);
• Be citizens of the United States of America;
• Be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible); and
• Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

Deadline: Applications for the 2018 awards will be accepted between July 1, 2018 and November 15, 2018

Awards:

• Local-level award recipients become eligible for region-level awards of either $3,000 or $5,000
• Region-level award recipients then become eligible to receive one of three international-level awards of $10,000.

Eligibility:

• Provides the primary financial support for yourself and your dependents. Dependents can include children, spouse, partner, siblings and/or parents.
• Has financial need.
• Is enrolled in or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program.
• Is motivated to achieve your education and career goals.
• Resides in one of Soroptimist International of the Americas’ member countries/territories (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guam, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Northern Mariana Islands, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, United States of America, Venezuela).
• Has not previously been the recipient of a Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity or Live Your Dream Award.
• Does not have a graduate degree.
• Is not a Soroptimist member, an employee of Soroptimist International of the Americas or immediate family of either.
• Has a Social Security number or Tax ID number. (This is required for tax purposes and is only necessary if you are a resident of the United States. You will not be asked to share this information unless you have been given an award.)

• In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

Additionally, students must submit either an SAT or ACT score. 

Selected Wells Fargo Fellows must enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university. Failure to enroll in the fall of 2018 will lead to forfeiture of the scholarship. 

Wells Fargo Fellows must participate in all Wells Fargo Webinars and attend all Summer Leadership Summits in order to maintain funding eligibility.
