Classroom Supports and Interventions employs Instructional Program Aides (IPA) and Teacher Assistants (TA)  to deliver instructional support in the classrooms for participating elementary, secondary, and alternative schools within the Guam Department of Education. TAs and IPAs provide classroom instructional support to Pre-K – 12 students and teachers through small group instruction/tutoring and 1:1 assistance during the regular day, before and after-school, breaks, and summer. Services are aimed towards increasing achievement in core content areas and elective courses to help close performance gaps, and create enrichment activities to include physical fitness, character education, educational games, and life skills.
